Verdies Lee Long Irvin,  a resident of Birmingham, AL., entered into eternal rest on February 18, 2017. Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Bushelon Funeral Home (800 14th Street SW). Services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Adamsville (4518 Old Jasper Hwy) with burial in Zion Memorial Gardens, Reverend Charles J. Griggs, officiating.
