Dear Jason and Staff,

Words seem inadequate to express our sincere appreciation for your help during the loss of our beloved Brother. Not only were we touched by your professionalism but your personal care for each of us. You were so willing and quick to answer our questions and offer assistance to be of help. Thanks also for your gift of the throw. It was absolutely beautiful. You did a magnificent job of preparing his body for eternal rest. Your prompt response and concern for the family will forever be remembered in a warm way. What an incredible funeral home. The entire staff handled the situation beautifully. They were honest, sympathetic, and nobody tried to upsell or take advantage of us during this tragedy. Thanks again on behalf of the Glaze family!

If you should ever face this kind of tragedy...I highly recommend Aubrey Bushelon Funeral Directing & Cremation Services. They make the best out of the worst situation.

Mr. Jason, from the day our dear SWEET mother left us and you picked her up, to the very end of the day of her services and beyond, you displayed the most wonderful, caring, patient, personal, sympathetic and MOST PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. There is really no way you can know (in this life) how much of a blessing you and your staff have been for us and to us during one of the most grievous times in our life, and there are no words that can express to you (and to GOD for you), the gratefulness that our hearts feel. Since there are only two 'little' words chosen among men to express gratitude, even for the 'BIGGEST' act of kindness, I will use these two words again to say "THANK YOU!" Thank you so much for ALL you've done to make this burden so much lighter. You are professional, personable, caring, sweet, and I can't thank you enough! I highly recommend Aubrey Jason Bushelon to everybody!

May The God of Heaven and earth continue to bless and keep you and yours ALWAYS. Much Love, Mrs Jeanette Smith Cannon

I was given the name Aubrey Bushelon when my dad passed because he was a veteran.  My dad passed on a Wednesday morning, Aubrey Bushelon picked my dad up within an hour of my call and was out to my house within several hours so that we could discuss his wishes to be cremated.  They were very professional and compassionate, I couldn't ask for more.  On Friday of the same week, they arrived with my dad's ashes, and unfortunately my grandmother was on Hospice and passed the same day that my dad's ashes came home.  I called Aubrey Bushelon and he was back at my home that evening to pick up my grandmother, I can't tell you how much I appreciated him, two relatives within 48 hours wow words cannot express how my family is feeling.  But thank you can't even describe how I feel, I am eternally grateful.

My family was very bless to have had the care of Aubrey Bushelon and staff. The care, the consideration the attentiveness we will never forget. Having family members work for this establishment we knew that there would be no other consideration. The administrative staff, the florist, the drivers, the stylist and of course Mr. Aubrey Bushelon himself gave heed to every need the family had. We as a family will always with much graditude thank you so much. We believe in our heart that you knew the type person our mother were in order to give a Homegoing resting tribuite as the butterflies. We consider the Bushelon Staff part of our Family and truly we say THANK YOU WITH ALL OF OUR LOVE. The Family of Essie Gordon

I am Blessed beyond words by the care that Aubrey Bushelon took not just with my father, but with our family. My father was in palative care at the V.A. Hospital in Birmingham, we knew he would not walk out of the hospital this time. One of the staff told my mother of Aubrey Funeral Home. She called them & they took care of every aspect of my fathers & mothers wishes.  Unfortunately, I have dealt with numerous death in the past, but none can hold a candle to the TRUE CARE & LOVE that they give to the survivors.  The fact that my father's obituary is still on this web-site over a year after he past is amazing and I want to thank each and every member of this family not just for their professionalism but for the Kindness, Love & Understanding that they give to us.  There are no words good enough to show you my gratitude!!So a BIG THANK YOU!!! is what I will have to settle for.  Just know that there is a special place for all of you in my heart. I will never forget how special you are at what you do and neither will GOD!!

Jason, words can't explain how thankful I am to have you take care of my mother and her arrangements!!

My mother, Elizabeth Quarles, passed away on May 14, 2011, three days after her mother and my grandmother, Charity Coleman passed away. Our family is trying to cope with Grandma's passing when I got the phone call from St. Vincent's Hospital that my mother passed away. It's very stressful and my heart was extremely heavy(and still is) with Moma's passing because I've been there with her since she was admitted into the hospital on 04/18/2011. The doctor's gave her a slim to none chance on making it but I just knew Moma will make it ok. She's been a fighter since I came into this world and it just hurts so much to go into her room to see her with no life in her and to feel how cold she is in contrast to the day before when she was so hot.

I took Moma's passing hard and I knew that I want nothing but the best for Moma. I and my brother first called {A Local Funeral Home} and we didn't like them and my uncle recommended Aubrey Bushelon and I made the call. I felt so relieved to know Moma was in good hands. We met, planned her creamation/Memorial service, and he did the rest! I was pleased with all he have done for Moma! I thought the Memorial service would be a small service but we had a full house! Moma never met a stranger and it showed during her Memorial service.

Jason, thank you so much for all you've done to make this the best home going service possible! You are professional, personable, caring, sweet, and I can't thank you enough! I'd highly recommend Jason and Aubrey Bushelon to everybody!

I recently experienced a terrible loss – the passing of my beloved mother. After my mother was placed in hospice care, I decided to initiate the pre-arrangement of her funeral services. I was referred to Aubrey Bushelon Funeral Directing & Cremation Services by a dear friend. I went in for the first consultation and Aubrey just listened to my concerns and wishes; without making a sales pitch. He did assure me that making pre-arrangements would definitely take a tremendous burden from me. He was right. When my mother passed, I informed Mr. Bushelon and he took over from there. He directed and coordinated every aspect of my mother’s services – I desired to take my mother back to Montgomery and Aubrey Bushelon managed that as well, including burial arrangements. My mother’s illness caused drastic changes in her appearance; leavening me to believe that there would be no viewing of the body; however, due to Aubrey Bushelon’s experience, viewing was made possible during the services. During my grief, it was so comforting not to have to deal with any of the details – using Aubrey Bushelon Funeral directing & Cremation Services gave me time for me – which began the onset of my healing process. I will be forever grateful.

Death is never easy, even when you know it is pending.  Our family received the unexpected phone call, letting us know, my uncle had passed away on January 28, 2011.  He had no family in Birmingham.  In a very short period of time, we had to coordinate flights and arrivals from two different states, in addition to planning his funeral.  My uncle’s friend, a doctor at the VA Hospital, suggested we use Aubrey Bushelon.  When we contacted them, we presented them with a window of only 48 hour to help us make the arrangements.  Jason explained the VA benefits and the necessary signatures needed from my uncles three sisters; while Kate explained how to compose a cost-saving obituary for the newspaper and suggested keepsakes to share during his memorial.  Kate worked late into the evening and emailed me samples, proofs and finals of his obituary, on-line web site and keepsakes.  No sooner did I send her my decisions, and Kate was replying with confirmations.  The next day Jason followed-up while we were en route to make sure we were happy with the finals, ensuring the keepsakes would be ready for the memorial.  I was so surprised and moved when I met Kate at my uncles’ memorial.  The Bushelon family also, made arrangements to meet us during non-business hours so my mom and aunts could say their goodbyes.  I recently attended another family funeral in North Carolina, and by comparison, the Bushelon family has set the benchmark on providing personalized and sensitive services.  Because of their compassion, our families experience was peaceful and heartwarming.  We have shared our experience with the Dr. from the VA hospital and others, there in Birmingham.  Death is oftentimes difficult, but I hope others who must take this path, will consider Aubrey Bushelon Funeral Directory and Cremation Services.  My family and I will be forever grateful to the Bushelon family for helping us honor and pay tribute to my uncle.

I have been blessed with the honor of knowing Jsaon and his staff for a while now. Every funeral that I have attended that the remains were entrusted to his dynamic professional staff has gone over excellent. He  and his staff gives their utmost attention to the family by ensuring that their every need is met during their time of sorrow. They not only is there for the family during this time , but they are also available afterwards as well. TRUST me "HE" really cares about his families and their loved ones. I am not from Birmingham, but if I lost a love one it is not doubt who I will entrust the final arrangements to none other than Aubrey "JASON" Bushelon the place where, "the heart is made to feel so welcome and the mind is put at ease". Give Jason and his wonderful staff a call, you'll be glad that you did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
