Herman Wesley Nelms "Boy"of Birmingham, passed away Friday, June 30th, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Nelms, Jr.

He is survived by a loving wife, Brenda Hare; mother, Annie Mae Nelms; son, Christopher Nelms; stepsons, Branyon and Derrick Hare, daughter, Trizonna Silmon; grandchildren, Sidney, Jashya, James, Nevaeh, Eric, and Javeon; three sisters, Louise Gordon, Edie Mae Mahan, and Mary Jean Baldwin. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 12:00 noon, at Fellowship Bible Church (341 Roebuck Dr.) with burial in Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery, Saginaw, AL.
