Walter Val Johnson, Jr.

Walter Val Johnson, Jr., a resident of Birmingham, AL., entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2018. Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the funeral home. Services celebrating his life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Jackson Street Baptist Church (230 63rd Street S.). Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.

He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mrs. Vanessa Johnson; daughters: Trenichia (Franklin) McGee and Waneka Johnson; son, Walter (Saadia) Johnson, III; grandsons: Myles McGee and Joshua Johnson; and a host of relatives and friends.
