Jeffery Scott Bowen, known lovingly as Jeff, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his get-a-way residence on Smith Lake near Cullman, AL with his wife June at his side. He served our nation in the United States Marine Corp. A memorial will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, AL., on Thursday, November 9th. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. for family and 1:00 p.m. for friends of the family with Dr. David Dobson officiating the service at 2:00 p.m.

Jeff was born on April 1, 1972 to his parents Farris and Linda Bowen in Gadsden, AL. Preceding Jeff in death were his maternal grandparents, Myrtle Sue Cox McCurdy and Verlyn McCurdy, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Myron Walker and Mitchell Bowen, all from Gadsden, AL.;in-laws, Gordon and Edna Pulliam from Hawaii. 

He leaves to cherish precious memories: a wonderful wife of 21 years, June Bowen; brother, Farris Odell Bowen, Jr.; nieces, Merri Bowen and Destinie McCollum; nephew, Evan McCollum; aunts, Mary Ann Jones and Jean Bailey; uncle, Steve McCurdy; and several cousins and friends.

Jeff was a loving, caring, and faithful husband who also loved his dogs and cats and was loved by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed. 1st Corithinians 2:9
