April K. Shealey, a resident of Birmingham, AL., entered into eternal rest on July 18, 2017. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, July 21,2017 at Bushelon Funeral Home (800 14th Street SW). Services celebrating her life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday,July 22, 2017 at First Baptist Church - West End. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents:Lawrence & Mary King; brother, Lawrence King,III. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her favorite daughter, Juantelle Brown; son, Roderick Shealey, Jr.; brother, Alonzie (Joann) King; sister, LaDrean (Belvin) Perry; grandson, Martinez Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
