Welcome to the memorial page for

Cameron Scott Wainman

February 4, 1979 ~ November 19, 2017 (age 38) 38 Years Old

Cameron "Scott" Wainman, age 38, was born on February 4, 1979 in Birmingham, AL.  He passed away on Sunday evening unexpectedly, November 19, 2017 at his home in Warrior where he resided with his mother and step-father Kathy and Jimmy Hancock. Scott was a devoted member of Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Church where he enjoyed volunteering his time to help the community doing food drives or anything they needed on most Saturdays. One of his favorite things to do was spending time with his family, going to church, and drink a cold beer after a hard days work. He was a very hard working young man that didn't need the modern luxuries of life today. Scott will always be remembered for his Selfless, Generous, Kind, Courageous Spirit. He had the best heart and this great sense of humility UNLIKE anything I have ever seen. He always had a smile on his face no matter what life had thrown his way. And Most of All, He loved his son, Logan more than anything in the world. Scott graduated from Forbes Institute in 2015 with Honors and was working towards completing his internship to become an Electrician. He is survived by his former spouse, Alicia Liddon and their son, Logan Wainman. Parents: Kathy and Jimmy Hancock and Caroline and Mike Wainman; siblings: Jason and Wendy and family, Matt Hancock, Jimbo Hancock and Bo Wainman. Nephews: Gage Wainman and Chandler Hancock; and sister-in-law, Christine Leonard. Funeral service will be held at Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 963 Warrior Jasper Road, Warrior, AL 35180. We will begin with a viewing and service will follow immediately.
